The Royal Horticultural Society - Wisley
There is a Club visit to Wisley in July 2010. This is the flagship garden of the RHS and has richly planted borders, luscious rose gardens, a state-of-the-art new glasshouse and much, much more.

Garden Organic
The Henleaze Garden Club are members of Garden Organic and there are 2 tickets for members to use to visit Garden Organic gardens, of which there are several (go to the Garden Organic website for details). The tickets can be obtained by contacting Jane Voke by e-mail or telephone (see Contact Us).

Gardening Which
The Club has an extensive file of factsheets from Gardening Which that cover a wide range of gardening topics. This is available on the plant stall at meetings.

Jekka McVicar Herb Farm
Jekka is a nationally recognised expert on herbs and has spoken at the Club. There are opportunities to visit her herb farm at Alveston. See website.

Aberglasney Gardens
Aberglasney is located in the beautiful Tywi valley of Carmarthenshire. Club membes will have an opportunity to see the inspirational gardens that have evolved over more than 500 years when the Club makes a visit in August 2010.

National Botanic Gardens of Wales
The club is visiting the Gardens in August 2010. The 600 acre garden and its centrepiece, the Great Glasshouse, opened in 2000. The Gardens aim to be "a centre of world significance dedicated to horticulture, conservation, science, education, leisure and the arts".

Brackenwood Plant and Garden Centre
The Centre is located in the Leigh Court Estate near Abbots Leigh. Club members receive a 10% discount on production of their membership cards.There will be a Club visit to the Centre in June 2010.
